Motorola RAZR Launch In Malaysia & MotoCast Demo

Two phones chose this special day today 11/11/11 to officially launch in Malaysia, one is Samsung Galaxy Note and the other is the long anticipated new Motorola RAZR. RAZR^TM is the most well-known model of all Motorola mobile phones in the history and they are using the same name for this latest smartphone that is impossibly thin, lightweight, fast, and tough! I believe the legendary name RAZR is suitable for this new phone as it features some incredible specifications and the price is only RM1,999!

Below are some facts of Motorola RAZR :-

• Dual-core 1.2GHz processor
• 1GB RAM, 16GB internal storage (supports up to optional 32GB microSD)
• Display protected by scratch-resistant Corning Gorilla Glass
• Back cover encased in laser-cut KEVLAR fiber
• Splash-guard coating shields (splash resistant)
• 4.3″ qHD (960×540 resolution) Super AMOLED Advanced display
• 69mm wide x 131mm long x 7.1mm thin
• Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread OS
• 8MP Rear Camera with LED flash
• Micro HDMI port with 1080p HMDI Mirror Mode output
• Full HD 1080p video capture with image stabilization
• 1780mAh non-removable battery

Motorola RAZR is so thin with the thickness measurement of 7.1mm and it weights only 127g. The 4.3″ screen size has recently become a topic of discussion whether it is too big for our thumb to reach all corners of the display, so I tested it myself and you can see the result in the following picture. I guess the huge Super AMOLED Advanced display would be just nice for average users as it fits comfortably in my hand.

What makes the phone tough is the reinforcement of Corning Gorilla Glass on the display and curved body that incorporates Laser-cut KEVLAR fiber. It’s undeniable the KEVLAR fiber looks elegant too. In addition to that, a stainless steel core and laminated construction enhance rigidity and splash-guard coating shields the Motorola RAZR against unforeseen water splashes.

In case you are not aware of it, Motorola RAZR is one of a few smartphones in the market that uses microSIM.

Welcome to Ads Minded WordPress Theme Demo!
This is the first post running on my first ever WordPress theme.

Alright, let’s get into the introduction of Ads Minded WordPress Theme.
Introduction
Nowadays, publishing contextual advertisement on WordPress blog is nothing special. Hence, I had a thought of building a WordPress theme with the consideration of publishing as many advertisements on the blog and yet not compromising the content area and design of the blog.
Ads Minded WordPress Theme was finally completed today and will be officially running on my tech blog named Hi Tech. The following are the features of the theme :-

• WordPress 1.5 & 2.0+ compatible
• XHTML compatible codes
• W3C CSS compatible codes
• 3 columns with an optional square advertisement (Shows on main page) on top of the sidebars
• Search engine friendly and easy advertisement placement
• Comes with a few useful plugins written by me and others
• Just browse around this demo you will have a better idea.

• WordPress 1.5+ or WordPress 2.0 installed
• Enable all plugins included in the package before using this theme.

What can Ads Minded actually offer ?

• 1. High CTR AdSense layout
  Ads Minded uses a high CTR AdSense layout created by me which I named it QuickSense^TM (sounds similar to quicksand).

  I can’t disclose the CTR here as doing so is violating AdSense TOS, but I can tell you QuickSense^TM has the highest CTR for all my advertisement placements.

• 2. Search Engine Friendly
  Ads Minded was built with search engine in mind. I place the content column of the left side and the 2 sidebars on the right so that search engines read the blog content first before crawling the not-so-important items on the sidebar.

• 3. Advertisement Sequence
  The sequence you place the advertisements is important because the first advertisement code usually carries highest paying advertisement. Hence, due to the high CTR of QuickSense^TM, I place it on top of all codes in order to get high paying advertisements.

• 4. Better Ads Targeting
  Advertisements can be shifted around in the blog for better targeting just by shifting the advertisement codes. Each column can at least contain one type of advertisement format. They are designed to nicely fit different type of advertisements.

Some users of the theme were concerned about AdSense TOS Violation, hence I sent an email on May 7, 2006 to seek for confirmation from Google AdSense Team that this theme is 100% compatible to the TOS. On May 10, 2006, AdSense Team replied and gave a green light to Ads Minded theme. Below is the screen shot of the email :-

So, it’s now confirmed that Ads Minded is 100% Compliant with AdSense TOS.

Installation

• 1. Unzip the downloaded file.
• 2. Place all files into /wp-content/plugin & /wp-content/themes folder respectively according to how the files are located in the zip file.
• 3. Login to WP admin control panel and activate all 6 plugins included.
• 4. Enable Ads Minded theme under Presentation.
